Tuxedo is one of Winnipeg's most established, upscale neighbourhoods, and it earns that reputation honestly. Lots are bigger, streets are quieter, and a lot of homes back onto green space. It's consistently ranked among the most expensive neighbourhoods in the city for houses.
The real perk is location. Assiniboine Park, the zoo, The Leaf and Assiniboine Forest are right there, so weekend plans tend to take care of themselves. And when you need to run errands, Seasons of Tuxedo and Kenaston have just about every big store you could want.
Not every home here is a mansion, either. There are 1960s and 1970s bungalows and two-storeys on big lots that give buyers a way into the neighbourhood, plus a solid mix of condos.
