Fort Garry is big, and that's kind of the point. It runs south along the Red River and Pembina Highway and takes in a bunch of very different pockets: leafy, riverside areas like Wildwood Park and Crescent Park, student-friendly streets near the University of Manitoba, and family areas like Fort Richmond.
Wildwood Park is a local favourite. It was designed so homes face shared green space instead of the street, which means kids can play in the park right out the back door. Along the river, you'll find some beautiful homes on big lots.
Then there's game day. Princess Auto Stadium, home of the Blue Bombers and Valour FC, sits on the U of M campus. Living here means you can walk or bike to a game and skip the parking headaches.
